The enterprises in CND must abide by the relevant laws and regulations on environment protection stipulated by the State. The standards for implementation are as follows:

Standard for Pollutant Exhaust Air Surface Water Noise
1.The max allowable concentration of the exhausted air must follow Level Άς,GB16297-96.
2.Smoke exhausted from industrial boilers and kilns must follow category Άσ, GB9078-96.
3.Air pollutants from boilers must follow category Άς,GB13271-91.		 1.The max allowable pollutants concentration and discharge capacity of the sewage must follow Level Άς,GB8978-96.
2.The allowable pollutants to the sewage treatment plant must follow Level Άσ,GB8978-96.
3.The max of allowable pollutants concentration of the sewage discharged from some special industries must follow the seperate standards stipulated by the State.

1.Factory:65 Leq(dBA) in daytime; 55Leq(dBA) at night.
2.Construction Site:GB12523-90.
The standard CJ3082-1999 issued by the National Construction Department must be followed when signing an agreement between users and drainage management company.
Environmental Impact Assessment Process
Application Complete " Application Form on Environment Impact of the Construction Project " and submit it to the Environment Protection Bureau for assessment and approval.
Assessment It is performed during the process of undertaking study and it can be authorized officially.
Review It is performed during the process of examining feasibility study and design proposal.
Approval Approval in principle is granted when starting the trial production; formal approval together with an assessment report is granted before production.
