| Regulations For Transfer/Grant
of Land Use Rights
CND shall be responsible for the matters
relating to transfer and grant of the use rights of the State-owned
land for valuable consideration and both domestic and overseas investors
are welcomed to invest in land development and construction in CND
.
Under ˇ°Provisional Regulations for the Transfer/Grant
of the State-owned Land Use Rights of Changzhou Municipalityˇ±, both
domestic and overseas investors can use the land in CND .The maximum
period of the grant can amount to 70 years ; no more than 50 years
for the projects of industry , culture , education , or hospital
, 40 years for the projects of commerce , entertainment , and tourism
, 70 years for the project of real estates development .
Chinese partner can transfer the land use
right to a joint ventures as part of its investment or cooperation
term for undertaking development and construction with overseas
investor .
Grantee/transferee may assign , present,
let , pledge or inherit land use rights .
The granted land must be used in compliance with the overall plan
and subject to the overall industrial layout of CND with the aim
of environment protection .
